It's snowy here in East Tennessee. *singing*: "Hiking in a Winter Wonderland." Cold, but so beautiful. And don't worry; I bundle up well.

And I just had to draw this with my hiking pole: a Snow Cat! Looks kind of like my kitty, Marilyn MonREOW (pictured below the Snow Cat). Only Marilyn is much, much warmer (she's on my lap right now, *smile*).

Hope you're very well, babe. It's always great to know more about you. :)
Sending you many hugs!
Hi, Maya! I'm doin' okay! It's great to "see" you. You've been in my thoughts, and I hope you're doing well.
((((((((great big hugs)))))))))) to you, my sweet friend!
Hey, there's a cat in that snow!
hehe, Susan. Imagine that! ;)
We didn't get that much snow here in Knoxville. :( Fortunately I was in Maine a few weeks ago and they had P L E N T Y.
Hi, David! Great to "see" you again! Yeah, I have family in Knoxville and they didn't get nearly that much snow. And where I live there was less snow than up in the mountains, where those pictures were taken. And wow, I bet they're buried in the stuff up in Maine! :)
Beautiful snow photos Thomma Lyn! I loved learning more about you...tried to do the same and flubbed it up...maybe I will get more time to try it again.
Hey Thomma! Just LOOOOOVE these pics. Wish I could find something this pretty to make into a wallpaper for my computer!
Thanks, Beth! That was a fun meme -- would like to check out your version when you get a chance to do it. :)
And thank you, Kim -- it's interesting you mentioned the wallpaper. I use photos like that to make wallpaper for my computer! Hiking pictures, hubby pictures, and kitty pictures. :)
I love your snow kitty! I think I'm too much a cold-weather wimp to hike in the snow, so thanks for the virtual hike!
*grin*, Bunnygirl! You're more than welcome. I'm quite the snow gal -- I love the stuff! ;)
You are funny drawing your kitty in the snow - wonderful likeness!
I am curious, where is the birthplace of your ancestors where you visited?
Hi, Jannie! :) Isn't the kitty a hoot? ;)
And the "birthplace of ancestors" thing I interpreted loosely -- several generations of them lived in Missouri. I've never been overseas.
I'll have to try this tag. You and I did a lot of the same things.
I loved your snow pictures. Marilyn should be quite proud of her portrait in the snow.
Hugs KS...
Hi, Dorothy! hehe, not surprised that we've done a lot of the same things! :) We're kindred spirits, after all. *grin* And yes, Marilyn was quite pleased when she saw the portrait I'd done of her in the snow.
Huge ((((((((((hugs))))))))))), dear BGF/KS, and keep feeling better! The Ballicai and I are continuing to dance for you!
SO beautiful! Though you wouldn't catch me trying to hike back down that slope in the snow...
I love your snow cat. And did I ever tell you how beautiful Marilyn MonREOW is?
That's a fascinating meme - this is the second time I've seen it, with different things checked off each time. Astoundingly different things.
Hi, Julia! That meme is interesting. I've seen it multiple times, too, and always with different things on it. Keeps it from getting stale! :)
Marilyn MonREOW thanks you. She's snoozing in my lap right now. She is a major, major lap cat. I lovingly call her my Lap Fungus.
The snow is gone now -- even most of it is gone from the mountain. It got above fifty yesterday, though it's getting cool again for tonight and tomorrow. It was fun to hike in, but it's some extra trudging! :-D
Gorgeous snow, including both cats. Love the meme. Though I don't do memes, this one is so tempting. What is it about telling people the stuff you've done on a list? I've been to all the places, but never saved anyone's life. I think the latter counts for more.
Hi, Squirrel! Yes, the life I saved was my precious hubby's. Something I will never, ever forget and thank eternal goodness that I was with him.
hehe, drawing cats in the snow is lots of fun! I drew an even bigger one on a more recent snowy hike. I'm really slacking on my blog -- ACK!
Very interesting meme! I might try it (just to take a break from this laborsome book that I'm beginning to HATE GRRRRRR!!!) Oops, did I say that out loud?
Beauty pics. Nothing like snow on a mountain :)
Thanks, Wylie! :) Just got back from another hike, and all the snow is gone now. But it's beautiful up there, regardless!
I hear ya on love-hate relationship with a WIP. I've been going through that since I started HC. It's at once the most fun and the most challenging, hair-puller of a story I've ever written.
Great Meme I'll have to get mom to do it.She's been real sick with her Gall bladder. She's afraid of surgery yet she may have no choice.Anyway those photos are so beautiful and your brave I don't like the cold...Hugs Ariel
Oh, ((((Thomma)))), gorgeous photos and I so lovers the kitty photo's...
hugs, sweetie
Thanks, Kimmi! ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) back atchya, my friend. :)
Ariel! (((((((hugs)))))))))) to you and your Mom. I'm so sorry to hear about her problems with her gall bladder! I can relate. I hope she feels better soon, and she'll be in my thoughts.
