Had a delightfully butt-busting hike yesterday -- combined two challenging trails into one, making a big circle that went way high upon the mountain, then looped back down again.
I spent o'dark thirty working on my novel-in-progress, and will do some more later today. So far, so good. I'm loving this story.
I'll post trail pictures soon, but for now, here are two videos from our butt-busting hike. The first is a panorama of the view from high up on the mountain. The second video shows laurels and greenery, blowin' in the wind -- and yes, it was mighty windy that high up! I loved it.

Very nice. Your work progresses so fast. I'm soooo jealous!
It's so pretty where you are! And what fine spring weather! :-)
Hi, Michael! Yeah, I'm rough-drafting pretty quickly, but my honing/revision/polishing stage takes more time. That's when I sculpt the story out of the "raw material" rough draft.
Hi, Bunnygirl! It is so gorgeous here now -- yesterday hit a high of 60 degrees, and today hit a high of 70! I'm on the lookout for blooming wildflowers. :)
We had major snow yesterday...
Thanks for taking us with you to the Appalacian Mountains!
You're welcome, Julia! :) Glad you enjoyed! We've had gorgeous days today and yesterday. We'll have another cold front pushing in tomorrow and some back and forth, though, before Spring gets here for good!
